I grew up going to Disneyland often for family vacations. My family is from southern California so we would visit family and take a trip over to Disneyland while we were there.

I even spent my 1st and 10th birthdays at Disneyland. I went to Disney World for my honeymoon. The home office I’m working in right now is largely decorated in Disney decor as well. So you could say I’m a bit of a Disney fan.

If I was looking for a remote job right now I’d definitely consider working from home for Disney. It’s a fun option for any Disney fan and there are more options than you’d think.

When it comes to Disney work-from-home jobs there are many options that involve actually working for Disney. There are some common positions they often hire for remote work.

Guest Support Representative

The Disney Store has hired remote guest support reps in a few states around the US and in British Columbia in the past. The role of this job is to provide customer support to Disney Store guests.

These jobs come up from time to time on the Disney job board. Search for the term remote guest support representative but be aware these positions fill quickly so you’ll want to check back often.

Disney Artists

If you are an artist and have dreamt of working for Disney but need to have a remote job due to a disability or maybe it’s just your preference, you are in luck! Disney often hires different types of artists to work remotely.

Just search the Disney job board for the type of artist you are and add the word “remote.” This will show you anything available right now. If you don’t see what you are looking for be sure to keep checking, you never know when a job listing could pop up.

Other Remote Disney Jobs

Disney is always adding new remote jobs to the Disney job board. You can also find hybrid and remote Disney jobs on the site Flexjobs. You’ll even see remote jobs pop up from time to time that are not actually with Disney but do relate to Disney.

Disney has many jobs to help keep the company running. You’ll find jobs in finance, administration, marketing, creative, sales, production, technology, and so much more. No matter what your skills are they likely hire people for a job that relates to those skills.

Just be sure to read the job details because some jobs that come up as remote may be a hybrid and require some travel or for you to live in a set location.

Write About Disney

Freelance writing is a great work from home job and you can even bring your love of Disney into your writing. There are several places that often hire people to write about Disney. These are a few places to check out.

  • Cambrick Yard LLC
  • Dis
  • Disney Lists
  • Mickey Visi
  • Theme Park Tourist
  • Pirates and Princesses
  • WDW News Today
  • WDW Vacation Tips

Do be aware that the sites above may require you to go to parks often. This can be hard for many people so just something to think able when considering freelance writing for a Disney related site.

Create Your Own Disney Blog

While many of the Disney related sites you can write for are focused on the Disney parks there is so much more to the world of Disney. Starting your own Disney blog would mean you can talk about any of these topics.

You could start a Disney food blog, Disney recipe blog, Disney travel blog, Disney craft blog, even a Disney fashion blog. There are many niches to consider! And starting a Disney blog is no different than starting any kind of blog. You can read my guide on starting a blog to start your own Disney blog.

The one thing to be aware of when it comes to a Disney blog is copyright issues. Disney is very serious about copyright and you’ll want to be sure you know what is allowed and what isn’t so you don’t get yourself in trouble. Learning about copyright in general can cover most of what you need to know.
