Hello and welcome to Lisa Sharp Creative. If you are disabled but want to be able to make an income from home you’ve come to the right place!
My Disabled Business owner Journey
I started my first business in high school after teaching myself web design and making some websites for myself. These skills later helped me start my digital content creation business that I still run.
I’ve built my business from scratch and it’s now a successful business that allows me to work for myself, from home, and make an income that allows me to live the fun lifestyle I’ve always wanted even though I am disabled.
I also took a break for a year from my blogs to help my family create a non-profit. That organization has been very successful and is helping to bring the arts to more people in my hometown and surrounding area.
Helping Other disabled people earn an income
Working while you are disabled can be very hard. Traditional jobs often don’t work for disabled people. There are alternative jobs out there that can be more accommodating for those living with disabilities.
I’m passionate about helping anyone earn an income from home but I have a special place in my heart for others that are dealing with disabilities. We have added challenges but still have so much to offer and share with the world.
Who Is Lisa Sharp Creative For?
This site is for anyone with any kind of disability that is looking for ways to make an income while being able to take care of their needs, health, and well-being.
Every person and disability is different but here we strive to find ways to help every person with a disability find their passion and make an income without sacrificing their health and well-being.
Who is Lisa Sharp?
I’m a digital content creator with multiple blogs, Retro Housewife Goes Green, Green Oklahoma, The Stress-Free Christmas, The Stress-Free Halloween, In Harmony With Money, and Lisa Sharp Creative. I also helped start the non-profit HMA Foundation.
I live in a small town in Oklahoma with my husband and our rescued cat. We both work from home and enjoy the freedom that gives us to travel and explore together.
I have multiple disabilities including fibromyalgia, asthma, ADHD, dyslexia, and Irlen syndrome. Living with chronic illness and disabilities would make it hard for me to have a traditional job so I’ve created my own.
When I’m not working to build my business I enjoy baking, watching Disney movies, shopping at antique stores for vintage Pyrex and other goodies from the 1950s, and I, of course, love traveling and going to new places.
